Monique Morley has mastered the juggling act, splitting her time between FIFO mining work, university studies and private business ventures.
The 22-year-old easily swaps between high vis vests and lace.
She has spent the past few years working to cement herself in the Perth fashion scene through her lingerie brand Intimates by Monique.

READ NOW“The brand is about affordable luxury, so soft beautiful laces sourced from around the world to create unique and dainty pieces for the wild at heart,” Ms Morley said of her original designs.
Intimates by Monique started from humble beginnings, but now the brand ships to customers worldwide, to which Ms Morley credits social media.
“Social media has been such an incredible help; one third of my sales are from across the world, it’s amazing,” Ms Morley said.
“It took me around six to eight months to grow my brand’s following but I think if you love something and are passionate, you don’t need to try, it lifts itself.”
Now Intimates by Monique boasts more than 1000 likes on Facebook and 5000 followers on Instagram.
Despite starting as a hobby, the brunette beauty said she planned to make her designing work her sole income in the future.
“At the moment I’m working in the mines as a FIFO worker, which pays for my trips to source fabrics and trims,” Ms Morley said.
“But Intimates by Monique is my passion and hobby and soon it’ll be my full-time job.”
Not limited to lingerie, Ms Morley also designs sleepwear and dresses for her sister label Rabbit Rabbit the Label.
“Everything Intimates by Monique is designed by me and all my dresses and lingerie are made by me, but Rabbit Rabbit the Label includes pyjamas and nighties and I have people making them for me,” she said.
“Swimwear is on the horizon for the new year.”
