“No-one’s done it in Australia, the whole software is a global first,” he said.

“There’s not a seat in the venue where you can’t see a screen.”

The Sporting Globe features more than 40 large high definition screens and a seven-metre mega screen for live sporting events in the beer garden.

This is the third Sporting Globe venue in WA and 12th nationally.

Mr Sinclair said he was confident the new Belmont venue would be popular with the community after witnessing the passion of Perth’s sports fanatics.

“The location and proximity to the new Optus Stadium, which I think has the best atmosphere of a sports ground in the nation and possibly the world, could not be better,” he said.

“We are eager to engage with sports supporters before and after games played at Optus Stadium as well as those race goers at Belmont and Ascot.”

“We’re looking at opening The Sporting Globe north of Perth, having three already in the south.”

The Sporting Globe Belmont has a capacity of 377 patrons.
