The Bloody Long Walk is a 35km walk to raise money for mitochondrial disease this Sunday.
It is a debilitating genetic disorder that robs the body’s cells of energy, causing multiple organ dysfunction or failure and potentially death.
There is no cure and few effective treatments.
This Sunday, take in the breathtaking views from Sir James Mitchell Park, finishing in the spectacular Cottesloe beach.
Along the way, enjoy amazing coastline and diverse metropolitan scenery.
Complete the 35km challenge at your own pace, be it a walk, jog or run, knowing that every step is one step closer to finding a cure for mito.
