Quiz night in South Perth to help global fight against malaria

GET along to the South Perth Community Hall (corner of South Terrace and Sandgate Street) this Saturday for a quiz night to help fight the global scourge of malaria.

The doors will open at 6pm with the quiz night starting at 6.30pm.

Tickets can be purchased at $15 per person or $100 for a table of eight – BYO food and drinks.

According to the World Health Organisation Malaria kills one person, somewhere in the world, every 30 seconds.

Pregnant women and children under five are the most at risk.

Chemically impregnated bed nets assist enormously in reducing the incidence of malaria and $10 will purchase a bed net.

The 2017 RAMs Quiz Night has been organised by Rotaract members of both districts and all profits will be going toward purchasing bed nets for areas in need.
