The former comedian will be a judge at this year’s Deadly Funny Perth heat and final which will be held at the Cygnet Cinema this week as part of the South Perth Fiesta.

The show is the only dedicated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander comedy program for Australia’s traditional owners and attempts to unearth and recognise bright and bold new talent.

With a story-telling culture that goes back more than 60,000 years, the competitor’s natural talents shine through.

Comedian Kevin Kropinyeri will mentor the Perth entrants in a workshop before they take the stage and will offer advice on how to develop their performance techniques.
