25th annual Belmont and Western Australian Small Business Awards launched

INCOMING WA Governor Kim Beazley was a special guest when the 25th annual Belmont and Western Australian Small Business Awards were launched at the City of Belmont Civic Centre on April 18.

Joan Landers from the Jacaranda Community Centre delivered the Welcome to Country, Mayor Phil Marks made the official welcome and sponsors of this year’s awards announced their categories.

The awards are co-ordinated by the Belmont Business Enterprise Centre (BEC).

The event included the launch of the 2018 Designedge Innovation Festival by Mr Beazley.

Belmont BEC chief executive Carol Hanlon said she was thrilled to have Mr Beazley as a guest on the night.
