COMO-based radio station 98five’s breakfast show celebrated local mums last Friday in honour of Mother’s Day.
Lucky listener Rose Baker took home the coveted winning prize pack that included a stay at a CBD hotel, a shopping spree and more thanks to breakfast duo Kirste and Morro.
Ms Baker was one of 10 mothers who joined the pair at the Dux Cafe in Como after her daughter nominated her in the competition.
During the week, mothers were nominated by their families to share their favourite ‘mum moment’, whether it be inspiring, surprising or embarrassing.

“It’s made an absolutely beautiful Mother’s Day because there have been some very sad times around this time of year,” Ms Baker said.
“My mother passed away right near Mother’s Day and it’s changed everything, but I’m so proud of my daughter Jane and husband Mike.”
