The store is one of the first four that the discount supermarket chain will open in WA as part of its continued expansion in Australia.
The Belmont store will provide an everyday grocery range of about 1350 products, with 90 per cent being private label and mostly sourced from Australian manufacturers.
“Aldi Belmont will offer a convenient way for local residents to shop for high quality products at permanently low prices,” a company spokesperson said.

Aldi Belmont will cover an area of 1500sq m with 1000sq m of retail space.
The spokesperson said it would provide jobs for 15 to 20 staff.
Managing director Damien Scheidel said it was an exciting time for the Aldi business and for WA shoppers.
“We are eager to show them the difference Aldi can make to both their wallets and their lifestyles,” Mr Scheidel said.
The other three stores opening in June will be at Mirrabooka, Kwinana and Joondalup.
Community Newspaper Group has also reported that more Aldi stores were expected to open this year at Wattle Grove, Harrisdale, Ellenbrook, Morley, South Lake, Mandurah and more.
Construction is under way at Butler, while a Currambine location is getting closer to being confirmed.
Other store locations confirmed by Aldi include Armadale, Australind, Camillo, Cannington, Halls Head, Haynes, Maddington, Mandurah, Mundaring, Nedlands, Rockingham, Secret Harbour, South Lake and Southern River.
The long-term expansion plans include the creation of 1200 new permanent jobs across the state.
The first 45 store managers, hired from a field of more than 3000 applicants, have returned to WA after a six-week training session interstate.
