PERTH could soon see direct flights to Tokyo in what would be a major tourism boost.
It is believed major Japanese airline All Nippon Airways wants to see these non-stop flights start next year, even as early as April.
The daily service could bring an extra 70,000 visitors to WA every year and could inject $300 million into WA’s tourism industry.
The State Government has remained tight-lipped about the deal, saying it’s commercially sensitive but talks are ongoing.
