Animal lovers vow to rescue abused dog

OUTRAGED animal lovers have launched an appeal to track down a man caught on camera abusing a dog in Perth.

The man was spotted dragging his dog and yanking on its lead as well as hitting and spitting at the animal as it shied away.

The incident was caught on film on Swansea St, near the corner of Dane St, in East Victoria Park.

A concerned member of the public posted the video, which has now been reported to RSPCA WA.

The animal charity posted today: “This incident has been reported to RSPCA WA, but we need more information about the identity of the person involved.

“If you have seen the footage and think you may know who he is, please call the Cruelty Hotline on 1300 278 358 to provide the information.”

Concerned animal lovers have shared the video more than 4000 times, asking for help to track down the man responsible.
