ESKIMO Joe will headline a free concert in Ascot next month that serves as a finale for the City of Belmont’s Let’s Celebrate Festival.

The Eskies, famously from Fremantle and responsible for classic hits such as From The Sea, Foreign Land and Black Fingernails Red Wine, are among the biggest names ever drawn to the annual festival in Belmont.

They’ll play Garvey Park on November 30 in front of an estimated crowd of 8000 people and while residents of the City of Belmont have priority access to tickets this week, remaining tickets can be snapped up by general public from Monday, October 29.

Tickets while free are essential to manage the expected sell-out crowd.

The festival finale will also have free carnival rides, food trucks and a fireworks display.

The Let’s Celebrate Festival runs throughout November and includes a host of mainly-free events right across the City of Belmont, beginning with next Friday’s Big Light Out featuring colourful lasers, bright lights and dazzling illumination effects.
