FREE food and water sports are among the festivities on offer as the City of Belmont celebrates the change of season at its Autumn River Festival on April 3.
Held on the banks of the Swan River at Garvey Park in Ascot, the annual festival has live entertainment, rides and the chance to try kayaking or paddle boarding on the river.
If dry land is preferred, visitors can watch the water ski shows from the shore, peruse the market stalls or sample the food and wines.

Belmont Mayor Phil Marks said the annual event was a highlight of the city calendar, with many councillors and staff present on the day to make it special for the community.
“It’s wonderful to see so many residents, families and friends having a great day out and enjoying all the activities we put on,” Mayor Marks said.
“The Autumn River Festival is traditionally one of our larger events, with so much on offer there truly is something for the whole family.”
The festival is on Sunday, April 3 from 11am to 3pm.
