BACON took over Crown Perth’s The Merrywell last week when the salty breakfast favourite infiltrated a range of dishes.

American-born head chef Ryan Ebbs was the mastermind behind the limited edition menu, which featured bacon desserts and a bacon alcoholic cocktail.

Described as the ultimate salty and sweet palate pleaser, Mr Ebbs created the Southern Comfort-spiked bread pudding with bacon ice-cream and bacon sprinkles.

Bacon was also used in liquid form for the bacon-infused bourbon cocktail.
