Awards open for artists and photographers

The 13th annual Awards will be bigger and better this year, and the winner of the 2015 Acquisitive Open Prize will receive $4000.

Mayor Phil Marks encouraged artists to enter.

"The awards not only provide artists and photographers with the opportunity to express their , innovation and skill but also provide us with a unique insight into their interpretation of our culture, environment and people," he said.

Last year 234 artworks and 123 photographs were submitted from across the State.
