The pair star and run an award-winning cabaret performance called Lucha Royale, which won the Fringe World people’s choice award in 2012 and will make its debut at the Regal Theatre in Subiaco this month.

‘People don’t even know we’re together because we’re so professional when we’re working,’ Mr Lynch said.

‘We know each other so well it stops a lot of the fights.’

Stella and Cameron met five years ago while working in the corporate sector and have been together for the past three years working on their on and off-stage relationships.

Lucha Royale is a combination of mad masked luchadore wrestlers joined by dancers, circus acts, contortionists and seductive burlesque artists with a bit of audience interaction thrown in.

‘No one was really doing that in Perth at the time so we thought we’d do something different,’ Miss Hui said.

‘Because it’s such a different type of show for people in Perth ” whether you’re into the dance or the wrestling ” there’s something for everyone. Every show is different.’

Lucha Royale: Sex, Smoke and Mirrors will be on at the Regal Theatre on March 9, with a prize given to the best-costumed audience member.
