BELMONT and Victoria Park will host the State Government’s first Community Cabinet meeting for the year on March 11 and 12.

The meetings give local residents and organisations the opportunity to meet with the Premier and Cabinet Ministers to discuss local issues and open community dialogue.

Discussions facilitated by Belmont MLA Cassie Rowe and Victoria Park MLA Ben Wyatt will focus on local job creating industries, including tourism, racing and urban planning.

A key feature of the community cabinet is the town hall meeting, which will take place at the Belmont Sports and Recreation Centre on March 11.

More than 200 people are expected to attend the meeting, during which they will have the opportunity to discuss pressing issues that matter to the local area, and pose questions to the Premier and Ministers in a public forum.
