Belmont businesses rewarded for reducing waste

TWO local businesses have been recognised for their environmental achievements in the City of Belmont.

Belmont Forum and Paull and Warner Accident Repair Centre Belmont were both awarded at the City’s Environmental Achievers Program for Business Recognition Event earlier this month.

City of Belmont Mayor Phil Marks said all businesses in the area should look to the award winners and their positive examples of how to carry out business in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way.

“The City is committed to proactively working with businesses and the community to protect the natural environmental,” he said.

Both businesses were recognised for their reduction in resource use and waste reduction recycling, with Paull and Warner also lauded for their prevention of pollution and environmental degradation.
