A TEAM of Year 12 girls from Belmont City College have excelled at the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) Titration Stakes National Final.

The competition asks students to use their Chemistry knowledge and practical skills to determine the concentration of a chemical solution with the highest degree of accuracy.

Hala Abu-Qamar, Eman Mohamed and Li Quan placed fourth in the National Final of the competition, and were the top WA Public School to place.

Belmont City College staff and students have worked extremely hard preparing for the competition this year, regularly staying after school to prepare for the competition.
