Belmont Community Growers getting ready to harvest

GET hands-on with nature at Rivervale’s very own community garden.

The Belmont Community Growers report their beans may be ready for harvest this month, with broad beans and green beans coming through.

The group also plans to harvest coriander seeds and plant fresh crops in their place.

The next Harvest Day takes place on Sunday, November 5, from 10am to noon behind the Rivervale Community Centre on Francisco Street.

All members of the community are invited to come along and find out about the garden, meet their neighbours and learn all about how to contribute to the project.
