The Government will provide $212 million in funding to 51 priority infrastructure projects nationwide in round one of the program, including $6 million in the Swan electorate.
Swan MHR Steve Irons said the project would upgrade transport infrastructure in and around the Belmont Business Park.
"I am pleased my Federal colleagues heeded my call to fund this important infrastructure initiative, which will generate future growth for the City of Belmont and will complement the work of other government investments in the area, including the Gateway WA project, Perth Freight Link and Great Eastern Highway upgrade," he said.
"This $6,032,485 investment will create new local employment and will ensure the area continues to develop as a vibrant hub for businesses to invest and operate."

"But surely Steve Irons could have gone to his boss and worked out a way to both fund key development projects in his electorate and help Belmont improve parking and bus access while supporting wider Western Australia," she said.
"We don't have much to celebrate, because while Belmont will benefit, every person in Swan will suffer from $496 million cut from WA hospitals and $351 million cut from WA schools in this budget."
