CITY of Belmont will be holding its annual Kidz Fest, a celebration for the children of Belmont, on Sunday February 19.

Free activities and attractions for children aged 3 to 12 will be held at Faulkner Park from 3.30pm to 6.30pm including rides, performances, activities and workshops.

Faulkner Park will be divided into separate ‘lands’, each with its own style of entertainment and activities including stage performances by the Freedom Fairies, Hey Presto and Sparkles, Suitcase Circus, Critters Up Close and Dr Froth.

The Junior Sports Expo will have a variety of sports for kids to try and will be giving advice on where to enrol in local sporting clubs.

There will also be craft workshops, carnival and camel rides and farm animals to cuddle.

Children are encouraged to dress up in their favourite costumes.

City of Belmont, Lotterywest, Perth Airport and Belmont Shopping Centre have sponsored the day.

A $1000 Belmont Forum gift card will be up for grabs on the day at the Belmont Marquee.

Belmont Mayor Phil Marks encouraged parents to bring their children to the event.

“It’s the place to be, so don’t miss out,” he said.
