As well as an eight-race programme, the day will have cultural entertainment and performances, with a focus on the 60-year heritage and history celebration of the Italo-Australian Welfare Culture.

Perth Racing chief executive Jullian Sullivan said Perth Racing had a proud history of hosting days that offered the public an opportunity to become involved in the racing community.

“With the introduction of Multicultural Raceday, it will display a strong presence of cultural diversity from all community and ethnic groups,” he said.

Local businesses including Decanter, The Panke, Spicy Bites and more are among the line-up for food options.

Mayor Trevor Vaughan said the day would be a great opportunity for local businesses as well as for the overall economic development of the Town.

Town of Victoria Park residents and ratepayers will receive free entry into the event with proof of address.
