THE Robinson Netball Centre has been transformed with one of its walls brightened up with a mural featuring native Belmont flora.

Artist Anya Brock said she received a lot of positive feedback from the community while painting the mural.

“I enjoy working large scale like this and have had a lot people stop by as I have been painting to say it looks great to see such vibrant colour in this area,” she said.

The mural came about as a result of the City of Belmont’s vision work with Rivervale residents, businesses and community groups to create a more vibrant place for the community.

Brock was one of three artists invited by the City of Belmont’s Public Art Advisory Panel to submit concepts for the mural.
