Big changes ahead for south east corridor

Staff ReporterSouthern Gazette

Among the major plans to be carried out by the Government will be the development of Burswood Peninsula, which will include the new 60,000 seat Perth Stadium worth $1.8 billion and the relocation of Scitech from West Perth to the area at a cost of $15 million, both by 2018.

Two train stations, a north and south, will be built in the area to ease congestion as well as a footbridge across the Swan River from East Perth.

Passengers on their way to the airport will be delivered to the front door of the consolidated terminal by 2018.
