FEDERAL Labor leader Bill Shorten took a crash course in making coffee at Barista HQ in Victoria Park today.
Mr Shorten, who was joined by Swan Labor candidate Hannah Beazley, met business owners, residents and shoppers at Victoria Park Central where he was quizzed about energy supplements for pensioners and stopping the current bid to increase interest rate payments on university HECS debt.
He also asked for feedback on their experiences with private health insurance.

READ NOWMs Beazley, a former small business owner, said it was fantastic to introduce Mr Shorten to local operators and show him around an area so close to her heart.
“I grew up in Swan and my family’s connection to this area goes back generations,” she said.
