The restaurant, at Assured Ascot Quays Apartment Hotel, will donate a quarter of proceeds to the foundation for research into the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer.

This month, collection boxes will also take donations through the apartments and hotel and its head office. The breakfast fundraiser will feature a raffle and auction to win an overnight stay in the penthouse plus breakfast for two.

‘Every dollar raised takes NBCF closer to our goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030,’ chief executive Carole Renouf said. ‘We’ve made significant progress but the work is far from over.’
