Bumper field in contention for City of South Perth’s 2016 Emerging Artist Award

The judges were artist and curator Jana Braddock, artist and general manager at PS Art Space Fremantle Tom Muller and Curtin University Head of Art and Design, Professor David Hawkins.

Sculpture, video, photography, acrylic and mixed media all featured in this year’s showcase, which is the most diverse in the Award’s 14-year history.

The winners of the Award will be announced at the exhibition launch and awards presentation night on October 20 at the South Perth Community Hall.

The launch is invitation only, with the exhibition open to the public from October 21-29.
