The City is calling for all emerging artists to submit original artworks for an opportunity to exhibit their work to the public and a chance to share in $7000 worth of prizes.
City of South Perth Mayor Sue Doherty acknowledged the value of the award for up and coming artists in WA.
‘The Emerging Artist Award is a well established art prize in Western Australia and over the past 11 years has given that well needed boost to many developing artists,’ she said.
