POLICE are asking for the public’s help after a spate of armed robberies of bottle shops in the Rivervale and Bentley areas during May.

In all three robberies, staff were threatened with a knife before the offender stole money and fled on foot.

The man is described as being fair-skinned, about 183cm tall with a medium build.

He was wearing denim jeans and a black hooded jumper.

The first incident occurred about 6.05pm on Monday, May 18, at a bottle shop on Great Eastern Highway in Rivervale.

The second incident occurred about 11.45am on Friday, May 22, and the third incident at 12.55pm on Saturday, May 23, both at a liquor store in a shopping centre on Albany Highway in Bentley.

A silver VE Holden Commodore was seen in the area and police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the car around the time of the incidents in Bentley.
