A SIX-year-old child and a cyclist were both lucky to escape with minor injuries in two separate crashes in Perth’s southern suburbs this morning.

The boy was hit by a car near the intersection of Challis Road and Braemore Street in Seville Grove just before 9am.

A St John Ambulance WA spokeswoman said the child suffered only minor injuries and was taken to Armadale Health Service with his mother.

Just minutes later, a cyclist suffered minor injuries after he was hit by a car in Kensington.
