READY, set, glow.

The City of Belmont’s biggest festival of the year is set to kick off in November with the eye-catching Big Light Out.

The light, sound and colour spectacular will launch the Let’s Celebrate Belmont Festival on Friday, November 3 from 6.30pm.

Visitors of all ages can enjoy live creation murals, a laser and music show in conjunction with DJ Shann and local loop artist Sam Perry, inflatable games and glow crafts, a silent disco, glow golf, neon body painting and more.

The festival is in its 10th year, with events throughout the month ranging from jazz to movies, dinner dates, cultural tours and more.

City of Belmont Acting CEO Robin Garrett said this year’s festival is set to be bigger and better than ever.

“With free entry to most events and only a few with a nominal fee, it’s a great opportunity to invite your friends and family from all over the metro area to come along,” he said.

The festival will wrap up on Saturday, November 25.

The event is set to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, as well as offer a mix of live music, free carnival rides and an international food fest.

Perth Airport, Telstra, and Healthway’s Act-Belong-Commit are on board as sponsors for the events.
