City of Belmont’s annual Kidz Fest enjoyed by thousands

GARVEY PARK was transformed into a fantasy land of fun last weekend when families flocked to the City of Belmont’s annual Kidz Fest.

More the 5000 people attended the popular event on Sunday, February 18 designed for children aged three to 12 years of age, and enjoyed free entertainment, workshops, sports and carnival rides.

Visitors to Kidz Fest experienced a wide variety of entertainment including live performances, games, cuddly farm animals, rides, and lots more as they explored Fun Land, Adventure Land, Tomorrow Land, Food Land and Sports Land.

City of Belmont Mayor Phil Marks said the event was always popular with residents and visitors.

“This event is one of the most popular on the City’s calendar and this year, the beautiful weather and fantastic line up of entertainment, rides and activities put smiles on everyone’s faces,” he said.
