GARVEY Park in Ascot will be turned into a fantasy land at the annual City of Belmont’s Kidz Fest on February 18 from 3pm to 6pm.

Children will be able to enjoy a line-up of live entertainment, workshops, games, rides and much more.

Kids aged between three to 12 years can enjoy and explore the special ‘lands’ – Fun Land, Adventure Land, Tomorrow Land, Food Land and Sports Land – each providing a range of entertainment and activities.

All activities, attractions and parking are free.

Stage performances will include Scitech, Critters Up Close, Colo The Magician and Mr Ricochet.

Children can try craft, DIY and cooking workshops, have their faces painted and watch live entertainment.

They can also enjoy cuddly farm animals, camel rides, laser tag, silent disco, rock climbing and mini golf.

There will also be exciting carnival rides and activities including fire engine rides, a bouncy castle, pony cycles, and a rollercoaster to name a few.

The Junior Sports Expo will have handy information about local sporting clubs and is the place where children are encouraged to have-a-go at a variety of junior sports.

There will be food and refreshments available for purchase including ice cream, churros, pizza, baked potatoes, donuts and coffee.

In a first for Kidz Fest, the City will also host a bike valet where patrons are encouraged to ride their bikes and have them valet parked and kept safe during the event for free.
