Community hub under way

Bounded by Bradshaw Crescent, Conochie Crescent and Welwyn Avenue, the hub includes a new Manning library, community hall and meeting spaces.

It will have family orientated facilities, including a child health clinic and an area for new early years’ services incorporating a toy library and playgroup.

Construction is expected to start next May and be completed in late 2016.

City of South Perth Mayor Sue Doherty said a report to endorse the final design will be presented to council later this year.

A subsequent report will be presented early next year to award the construction tender.
