FREE safety checks of bicycles are among the activities happening around the City of South Perth as part of Community Safety Month.

Mobile bicycle service Bike Dr will be providing the checks at Waterford Plaza on Saturday between 11am to 1pm.

The council has partnered with organisations including WA Police, Constable Care and the RAC during October to deliver events that cover topics such as road safety for seniors, protective behaviours for parents and teenagers and cyber safety.

For more information about the activities, contact the City on 9474 0777 or email enquiries@southperth.wa.gov.au.
