LONDON, Paris and Rome are all locations that Eliza Stevens will visit when she tours Europe with the Australian Girls Choir this month.

The Como Secondary School student is excited about the three-week tour.

She will travel to Melbourne on Thursday to rehearse with the choir before she leaves for Europe on September 20.

“There was an audition process that I went through to get on the tour but I’ve been involved with the choir for the last five years,” she said.

“I’ve always loved singing; I’ve been involved with primary school and high school choirs.

“I’m one of 56 girls from around Australia taking part. There are 11 other girls from WA.”

Eliza has not been to Europe and did not have many expectations about what the tour would be like.

“It will be all very new, we will stay with host families in each city but there will be time for some sightseeing,” she said.

“I like to sing a bit of everything, I really like singing Rhythm is a Dancer but I love learning all styles.”
