The Talkin’ About Your Generation two-day conference is presented by Aged and Community Services WA (ACSWA) in partnership with Alzheimer’s Australia WA and will tackle issues including workforce, funding, technology and reform in the aged and community services sector.

The inter-generationally themed conference at Crown Entertainment Complex will have more than 20 speakers from across the aged care sector explore the challenges facing the industry.

ACSWA chief executive Stephen Kobelke said the conference came at a key time in Australia’s political cycle and a critical time in the reform process.

He said the event also aimed to bring focus to one of the fastest-growing areas of concern in aged care: dementia.

Key note speakers include Professor John Swinton from Scotland’s University of Aberdeen and David Hunt from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. National speakers include Amana Living chief executive Ray Glickman.

The conference is relevant to any representatives of the aged and community care sector. Register at www.acswaconferenceperth.com.au.
