A PERTH detective has been charged following a serious crash at Perth Airport on August 16.
The 27-year-old male officer was charged with offences including dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm, failing to report the incident and drink driving.
The off-duty officer crashed into a vehicle on Airport Drive which rolled forward striking a third vehicle and resulted in a fourth car being involved.
A passenger in one of the vehicles received serious back injuries.

At the time of the incident, the man was working in the Serious and Organised Crime Division.
He has since been stood down and is expected to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on October 3.
