Curtin to host old rivals in Vic Park

CURTIN University Football Club will host old rivals Joondalup City FC at Raphael Park in Victoria Park on Saturday.

The day kicks off at 11am with the under 18s.

Both sides have two wins each on the board and it looks to be a tough challenge for Ian Morris new look Curtin squad.

At 1pm, the reserves match will kick off and the home side will chase its first win of the season.

The main game kicks off at 3pm when Curtin will be wary of a traditionally stubborn City side that has yet to record a win this season.

Curtin captain Kye Middleton will look to custodian Ranjeet Sekhon to marshal his defence in an effort to keep their first clean sheet of the season while club stalwart Jon Krawec, front man Rory Binnie and the effervescent Nathan Smith will all be a threat to the visitors.

There will also be activities for the kids with an inflatable football pitch among other activities.
