Disgust at ‘First World problem’

That’s what a Town of Victoria Park councillor has called a Lathlain resident’s concerns about possible noise and behaviour issues arising from a neighbour’s application to build a cubby for his children near their shared boundary.

The council approved the elevated cubby at last week’s ordinary meeting as long as it is built a metre from the fence and that there are no windows overlooking the Midgley Street property owned by the concerned neighbour.

Cr Claire Anderson said the neighbour’s concerns were an example of ‘first world problems’ and asked: ‘where has tolerance gone’?
