POLICE have charged a young man who allegedly stole a Mercedes Benz before leading officers on a pursuit and striking two cars in East Victoria Park yesterday.
Investigators allege the 20-year-old Kelmscott man evaded police between 10.50am and 11.10am.
He is accused of colliding with two vehicles during the incident.

Detectives have charged the man with 11 offences including reckless driving to escape pursuit by police, vehicle theft and criminal damage.
