East Victoria Park: serious crash injures seven teenagers on Albany Highway

MAJOR Crash officers are investigating a serious crash on Albany Highway in East Victoria Park early this morning in which seven teenagers were injured.

A police spokesman said police tried to stop a silver Ford sedan at 2.40am but it sped away from officers, before crashing into a parked car and a tree.

The injured teenagers were all travelling in the car.

St John Ambulance took the patients to Royal Perth Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.

Investigators are keen to speak with anyone who saw the crash or the car beforehand.

In particular, anyone with dash cam footage of the car in the area at the time should contact police.
