The East Victoria Park resident will join Team Cranky in October to take part in the 2013 Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer.

The ride provides funds to the WA Institute for Medical Research where cancer research takes place.

He has lost four close relatives to cancer and said he wanted to do his bit to help raise money and awareness to help other families avoid the pain and suffering it brings.
