Arts and Events team members Adam Gregory, Shenae Baulch and Louise Mayberry are preparing and looking forward to another Fiesta event.

From March 8-22, the culmination will be a Fiesta Concert on Sir James Mitchell Park featuring WA’s own star of the stage, Lucy Durack.

Over the years, the fiesta has played host to an amazing line-up of local, national and international artists and performers including the Wiggles and Marina Prior, as well as presenting a huge variety of different events and activities.

At the most successful Fiesta in 2000, 30,000 people converged on the South Perth Foreshore to see Marina Prior perform with Rob Guest and the Tommy Tycho Orchestra.

South Perth Mayor Sue Doherty said the event held a special place for residents and visitors to the City.

‘For two decades now, the City has offered the community the opportunity to get together and enjoy a series of amazing events in some of the most beautiful and iconic settings in Perth,’ she said.

‘In 2014 we have this much loved and eagerly awaited annual festival visually transforming the City into an explosion of colour as we all join together in celebrating our 20th anniversary.’
