Girls think pink for cause

Year 6 students Isabella and Autumn Weston, Mia Ross, Chloe Pontre and Keely Linquist were the brains behind the Pink it Up Fun Run in October.

Head of Junior School Trish Somers congratulated the girls on their efforts to raise money for breast cancer research.

“I commend these girls and all of our families who have been so generous in support of these important organisations,” Ms Somers said.

“All money raised will go to the Childrens’ Leukaemia & Cancer Research Foundation and the Bully Zero Australia Foundation, which is aimed at halting bullying.”

Further funds raised from the sale of cupcakes were donated to the McGrath Foundation for breast cancer research.
