Graffiti promoting veganism on a South Perth footpath

SPRAY-PAINTED messages promoting vegan activism have appeared in South Perth, which was first discovered on Friday morning.

South Perth resident Wayne Osborn posted photos in a local Facebook group of the spray-painted messages he found on the footpath alongside South Perth foreshore.

Mr Osborn said he stopped counting after seeing about 20 messages from the flag pole before the Boatshed to Hurlingham Road.

“I walk the river morning and night and I saw them at 7am in the morning,” he said.

“It’s a pristine environment and it’s my place to go relax and meditate, so I’m a bit shocked.”

Mr Osborn said the messages were done in black spray paint and were about A4 size.

In line with the City of South Perth’s Graffiti Management Program, the City will remove the grafitti.
