KENSINGTON Police and Community Youth Centre (PCYC) has received a $10,000 grant that will contribute to the restoration of its outdoor basketball courts.

The Commonwealth Bank Community Grant upgrades will aid in hosting activities and competitions such as boxing, both during the day and in the afternoons.

Kensington PCYC centre support manager Daniel Naidoo said the upgrades would help get youth involved and active in order to keep them off the streets and out of crime.
