A MAN will face court today after he was charged with the sexual assault of a teenager while he was a handyman 16 years ago.
Child Abuse Squad detectives have charged a 44-year-old man as a result of their investigation into alleged historic child sexual abuse incidents.
It is alleged between January and December 2004, the man who was a local handyman and gardener in the Carlisle and Kewdale areas, sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl.

READ NOWThe man has been charged with sexual penetration of a child over 13 years and under 16 years and indecently dealing with a child over 13 years and under 16 years.
He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates’ Court today.
