Kensington police release CCTV footage of men wanted for crimes

KARAWARA

POLICE have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with an investigation.

On March 13 about 3.10pm, a woman entered a toilet cubicle inside a shopping centre in Karawara.

While the woman was inside half undressed, she noticed a mobile phone appear under the cubicle wall next to her so called out and she heard what she thought was a male voice respond.

The man shown on CCTV is described as 18-25 years old, about 165cm tall, thin build with short dark hair, wearing a dark- coloured baseball cap, blue button-up top and orange-coloured shorts.

Kensington Police are also seeking assistance with a theft that occurred at a shopping centre on Manning Road, Karawara.

About 1pm on March 9, the 86-year-old victim was in the shopping centre when his trolley was taken by two unknown men.

Inside the trolley was a bag of five harmonicas, used by the victim to perform music at aged care homes.

Police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The first man is described as 35-45 years of age, medium build, about 175cm tall with dark hair, a dark moustache and facial hair on his chin.

He was wearing a baseball cap backwards, grey-coloured ‘Everlast’ singlet and blue shorts.

The second man is described as 18-25 years old, thin medium build, about 160cm tall with dark wavy hair.

He was wearing a red baseball cap, blue and white top and blue shorts.

ST JAMES

KENSINGTON detectives are seeking public assistance in relation to an aggravated burglary and robbery on Clinton Street, St James.

About 5am on February 20, a man and woman allegedly entered a home and rummaged through several drawers.

The victims woke up after hearing the noise and tried to hold the woman until police arrived.

During this time it is alleged the man and the victim were involved in a physical altercation, resulting in a minor injury to the victim.

A 26-year-old man was apprehended and charged but the woman remains unidentified.

She is described as dark-skinned, 20-25 years of age, about 172cm tall with dark-coloured shoulder-length hair.

She was last seen wearing a grey jumper, blue trousers, brown ugg shoes and carrying a dark-coloured backpack.
