KEWDALE’S Aussie Kidz Childcare donated over 140kg of clothing and textiles to the Good Samaritans with its winter appeal.

The centre caters to about 37 families and has been donating to the Good Sammy’s since 2016.

Over that time, the centre has provided more than 260kg in goods from toys and food to clothing.Aussie Kidz Childcare education services co-ordinator Nalini Kethavarapu said Good Sammy’s contacted them asking for support through donation drives.

“We discussed our involvement with the Good Sammy’s with both our parents and children, as we wanted to begin teaching the ideals of volunteering and donation at a young age,” she said.

“Since then, we have continued to partner with them, holding a seasonal drive a couple of times or more during the year.”

Good Samaritan sales and customer service manager Emily Noteboom said donations were the organisation’s lifeblood and they greatly appreciated Aussie Kidz efforts.
